I replace my after market Ignition switch with the original one with three prongs. I couldn't get it to work. Put the after market one back on which worked before. Now I don't have any thing working except the gas gauge does turns on. There is power to the starter though the battery cable. Battery fully charged. The previous owner change it over to a 12 volt system. Is their a main circuit breaker or fuse? Could the starter switch been fried? Verified all connections were tight. I am at a lost. Don't want to tow it to some garage. Do you have any ideas?

I would seriously consider returning the truck to 6-volt. You could consider the battery as being intermitten. Perhaps have the seller make a check for you and then change back to 6-volts.

Is it possible you have connected the wires to the wrong terminals. It is very easy to do and will cause unexpected results. Tony
