Thank You Chip for advising me two years ago to join VCCA. You indicated that the knowledge of the old cars would be worth the dues.
So many members have advised, assisted, provided guidance, technical knowledge and helped locating parts or supplied parts.
Received pictures via e mail of cars and various parts and invited to see cars that have been restored, one locally is the same year, model and color. Without it the car would not be completed.

Junkyard Dog, Chip, Chistech, BearsFan315, Ron Ohio, Blue 50 Convert, Bill Baker, Chipper and numerous others Thank You.

The membership has given back more than ever expected.
Dave

iagree

I would NOT even be tackling a resto without all the great people on here. their advise, help, pictures, and keeping me on track !! I hope that ONE day i will be done and have my 1929 back on the road. It is a slow tedious process, but enjoying every minute of it.

Learned so much and glad that i have been able to give back to others.

I would agree.

It was a whole different world when I began my restoration of my 1931 Chevrolet back in 1976...no internet just a lot of networking at antique auto shows, making phone calls, and countless letters. I was most fortunate though to have a helpful guide not too far from me my home in Ohio....Jim Koontz (Backroads) who helped me time and time again in my journey and I will be forever grateful for his mentorship to a young restorer.
Thanks Jim!

Thanks Dave. We are all really lucky to have lots of experts in the VCCA. I receive far more good advice than I am able to give. All the Best, Chip

It's amazing how quickly we all have been able to gain more knowledge of our cars in such a short time from those here who have a wealth of it. Hopefully we can keep passing it along through the years to come and help others new to the site. iagree
