Just recently purchased a 74 Caprice Classic with 14,500 miles on it and real happy with it so far. It does need a few minor things with correct floor mats { it has a red type interior} and need to get the front bumper extensions for it as they were not there anymore. I guess that these were known to deteriorate and break over time. Anyone done this yet and where did you get them from. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas I would appreciate it a lot.

Mats that lay over the carpet. Also Gene was wondering if you can answer one other question. When I put the heat A/C switch on hi ther blower motor shuts off. I am assuming it is the relay for it under the hood. It works fine otherwise. THX

Yes, was common for thr high speed relay to go bad.

What color is the interior? Brown or Burgandy?
I hthink I have some burgandy mats from the 1977 and up type body. My be a close fit.
