Thank you,

Trucks which are painted white, cream, yelllow or orange have grilles painted truck color.
All othe color trucks the grille is painted Turret Gray, a medium light gray.
The head light rims are painted fender color and the sealed beam retaining rings gray.
The bumpers and hub caps were also gray.

A CA truck is offically a 1946 truck A 1942-1945 truck would be a BA.

What is the difference between a CA and a CK model? I can't seem to find the reference to that.
CK - 115" wheel base - 1/2 ton
CL - 125.25' wb - 3/4 ton
CM - 134.5 wb - 1 ton
Thanks again on setting me straight as to what model year it is considered. It looks like the "O" series is also part of the interim series.

OK....I made a mistake. No CA.

1942-1945 truck BK
1946 first design CK
1946 seconed design DP

The 1944-1945 trucks came with basically no rubber parts such as front floor mat and hood corner bumpers were made from leather.

First design 1946 had these items.

My second design (DP) had a leather grommet to seal the hole for the gas tank neck outlet on the cab side.

Thanks again Gene.
Would you (or any one else) happen to know/recommend a reputable vehicle transporter/shipper? I'm getting the run around with the guy I'm dealing with.
