Can anyone tell me that this is and its vintage? It's 3 3/4" across and about 7/8" tall, and stainless steel.

Gene - I have seen these caps with a cream background color. Is the brown background in the picture also an original color? Tom

The cream background is '46 Fleetmaster.

Thanks for the info on the application for the cream color caps. I have a couple of them and didn't realize there were different colors. Tom
