On the end of the head light switch is a

Paul,It was either a 2 or 3 amp. fuse .Either one will work OK but I will check for sure and get back with correct amp.>>>>>>>>>>>>Just checked the shop manual...no info. there. Will look for my '55 owners manual next.My memory says 3 amp. but that was only 40 years ago when these were around as drivers.

I looked in my manuals as well, but couldn't find a thing. Like Chev Nut I also remember that fuse being a 3 amp. laugh laugh laugh

After digging deeper into my memory the reason that it isn't in the manuals is because the original '55 switch did not have a fuse but the replacement GM Delco switch had one.I remember needing to give out a fuse with a new light switch if it was going to be used in a '55.If I remember correctly the '56 had a fuse from the factory and I don't have a '56 manual to verify that.

Thanks guys I thought it was about 3 amp. But the fact that there is not one at all on this car I was concerned there may be a problem here so I wanted to be sure. pAUl
