Actually, the under running board antenna does it's job well. Their are several NOS running board antennas available for sale and I think it includes one for the 1937. The prices run from $800.00 to $1,500. So for something practical use, the two post side cowl mount antenna. They are also an efficient antenna and many $ savings from the under type. Contact the person restoring your radio and have him replace the antenna receptacle with the female Motorola type. You will be glad you did.
