Is there a way to remove radiator and water pump from 36 master without taking the grill cowling off?
Thank you, Daniel

Daniel I am not sure about the 36 but for my 38 I would be taking the grille and shell off then removing the radiator form the shell. With that off the car the water pump is very easy to remove. I* think others have taken the radiator out leaving the shell in place but with difficulty. Tony

That is the way to do it. Not enough room for any other removal.

Its not too bad. Its (I think) about 8 bolts to the fenders, 2 to the radiator bottom bracket and two on the rods that come off the firewall and mount to the top of the housing. It fits between the fenders kind of tight --I actually broke one of my headlamp bases because I was lifting with my forearms under these so now I'm out an additional 42 bucks :)

Hi, unfortunately there is no easy way to remove the radiator. You have to removed the shell and radiator combined.
