Does any one have any info about this glass cap?
Got these in the 80's when we were helping clean out my wife's grand parents home, her grand father had a the gas/repair station starting in the 30's (he passed in the early 60's).
My grand father had a repair shop and I believe I saw them at his shop as well.

Now that looks like it would be neat watching the sparks flying especially at night.

I have seen similar on a V8 and yes watching the sparks at night is interesting. At reasonably fast idle and above the cap lights up quite well.

I have never owned 1, I have only seen 1 on a customers vehicle and it happened to be at night.
