Hi from Australia, I have recently taken possession of a white 57 chevrolet Bel Air 2 door post and am trying to gain some history on the car from when it was in California. I have original "historical Vehicle" registration plate from California dated July 2014 the number is 353M. Car also has a VCCA member sticker on the rear glass dated 1975.
Any information from previous owners or info from VCCA members on how to obtain history of this car in America would be greatly appreciated.

I cant answers your question but someone in the US may be able to especially if you know the VCCA member number of the previous owner. The VCCA membership officer MAY be able to answer but I doubt the registry office would but still worth asking just the same.
There are several VCCA members in Qld as well as other states so dont feel alone.

Thanks Tony W, unfortunately i do not have the member number, only the small window sticker dated 1975 and the 2014 Californian registration plate! just thought i might get a response from someone in one of the VCCA chapters in california.
