The car shown in the following photos is being offered for sale. The owner believes it is a 1925 or 1926 Chevy, but has no further information. There are no numbers or tags on it that I can find. Can anyone tell me exactly what this car is? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. All the Best, Chip

Thanks. So is that what it is? A 1925 Touring and not a 1926? Did the '26 have outside door handles then? Or is it something else.....

Yes it's a 1925 series K touring. 1926 had outside handles.

The doors would interchange, '25 to '26 and in fact, these doors look like they may not belong to the body so not much use using them to date the car. Can you take a shot of the front chassis crossmember? If it is cast, it may well be a K ('25) but a V ('26) if pressed. The side lights appear to me to be the deeper style Indiana brand and correct for K.
Regards Al

If you look closely, you can see the Cast cross member/motor mount just under the frame. Also the rear cross member is just visible, showing that it has no flange, So yes a 1925 series K

Thanks guys, that confirms it then. Owner plans to sell it. He has no drive train for the car and is not interested in gathering up the rest of what would be needed to restore it. I'll be listing it on the "Cars for Sale" forum in the next day or two. Thanks to all for confirming what it is.
