Anyone ! I recently purchased a 1947 Chevy radio model 985793, and I'm wondering if I need to install all the noise suppressors that are listed in the install Manuel ? The radio is in great working condition,
Is there new type noise suppressors available, or do I have to look for old stock.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

A tech checked the radio out, and he said it needs a R F Coil assembly anybody know where I can find one ? Nothing is easy . Help

There is a place in Minnesota that advertises in Old Cars weekly that does the radios and he might sell parts. I think it is called Radio tech. Will try to find out name for sure and let you know.

I posted a reply to the same poster in another forum so perhaps he has already contacted him. Seems that some viewers fail to follow up after they post or don't bother to advise the results of their search.
