Any of your Antiques Roadshow fans ever notice the '38 Town Sedan in the show's intro?

Yes, I have seen that many times. Often wonder if it belongs to a VCCA member.

I watch for it every week. Wish they left it on for a few more seconds. Someday I hope mine will look like that one. Beamer

Who in the world watches Antiques Roadshow? talk

Well, just for laughs I guess. It is truley amazing and funny to see the little old lady try to pull off a look of amazement when told that their antique Chippindale table is worth a couple thousand bucks. They already know what the stinkin thing is worth. There are no real surprises on the show. Nary a one.

Watch it all you want but if the insurance salesman comes by you'll want to turn it off so he don't tell your neighbors you are fuddy-duddy enough to watch that show. Almost as bad as being caught watching Bananza. Is too! Agrin

Some ascribe to the adage ignorance is bliss. Others want to know.
ARS is the classiest appraisal show on the tube. That is why I donate.

Have to agree with you Charlie... The show is just teasee entertainment...Made to get your adrenaline and saliva glands going...Not much different than "Hoarders" really...I like to admire what I got, and it's mine...and, I refuse to be that concerned about it'a monetary value...

OK, so when and where is it shown in the program ? I will record it so I can see it too! Actually I may wait a week because I am making space to record Barrett Jackson. I like to view it prerecorded so that I can fast forward over all the resto-mods!

It's during the opening intro. It's only on screen for a couple of seconds.

Beamer,

That there right there is some darn good nitpicking. I'll try harder to be correct.

Stepped all over your favorite show, huh, Festus? dance2 Agrin

Thanks,

Charlie computer

BTW: I should say something about the topic of the thread. I don't think I have ever seen the opening scenes form Atiques Road Show. I'll try to do that. It is always a pleasure to see old Chevrolets on TV, in movies, etc.

I caught it tonight, a nice Town Sedan. It looks like it is black in colour.
