I just found a 1936 Chevy truck for motor parts but. The truck has army or military stars on the doors would this make this truck any different than normal. I'm building a 33 pickup but it had 1935 block in it with 36 head 207 but may be this motor might be different? Roger in snow drift North Dakota thanks

If it is the proper 1936 engine it will have the 836010 casting number in raised numbers on the right side of the block.

A '36 military truck has several differences from the civilian models: rear push bumper and pintle hook, windshield swings out out full horizontal (so you can shoot a gun), spare tire mounted on front right fender. Engine will have an oil filter mounted.

Roger, I have some new and used engine parts for 35-36. Let me know if I can help.
