My question is i just bought a 1950 2 door fastback. unfortunatly thats about all i know. someone at some point in time took the straight 6 and the 3 on the tree out and put in a small block 400 and a automatic trans out of a camaro(year unknown on motor and trans. I just started to take apart the interior and found that they cut most of the firewall and the floorboards away. (They have wood screw into the metal to hold the seats in). sorry about the rambling. Where would be the best spot to try to find replacement floorboards and firewall? and the list does go on but i figure this would be a better spot to start to get my car road worthy again. Thanks in advance

applecat:

Try http://www.chevsofthe40s.com/ or http://www.fillingstation.com/ I have had good luck with both of them. They have on-line catalogs including sheet metal. A parts car would be a good investment if you can buy it right.
