OP 39chevbuisness Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Jun 2015 Posts: 57 Oregon,Lane	I am replacing 4.22 center housing intact with torque tube,with the same except it is 373. from a 1938 Chevy. With only the diff.opened from the rear I can see that the ring gear has very little clearance with the axle housing,and I hope the 373. ring gear will not be larger around. The 373 has 41 teeth,and the 4.22 has 38.
