I have always heard that the pop-out ignition switch (electroloc) was used in early '33 Chevys. I have never seen one in person. There is one currently listed on eBay. Click on the following link to see it. 33 Electroloc Looks legit to me.

I did some research on the 33s some time back when I was trying to determine what was supposed to be in the Standard. The Standard was introduced in March of 1933 & the first cars built were in February 1933. After reading the owner's manual for the 1933 Standard, it was decided the pop-out type was for sure used in the Standards. Eagle might have used the pop-out & then the Master changed it up but I never could 100% verify my theory...Joe
