There wasn't a "2 door sedan" in 1932.....the model was called a "Coach". If you have a coach the Job Number on the cowl tag should be 32551.

Hi Barry!

There are a few street rodders in our club but the VCCA is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of original vehicles. If you are going to street rod your '32 you might want to visit some street rod sites since they can help you better with your questions regarding modifying your 1932 Chevrolet.

Good luck!

Hi,
I have an original 1932 repair manual from Oshawa General Motors in my collection. Not willing to loan but will sell. Not cheap. If interested send me a private message.

Hey Barry!

Sure, hang around this site and ask questions and we will be glad to help you. Not a problem. You may, however, might need to check out some street rod sites from time to time if you have some specific questions regarding modifications to your 1932 that we might not be able to answer.

I've completed most of a restoration of a '31 Canadian built 2 door Coach, and while '31 and '32 cars are very similar, unfortunately very little is easily interchangeable. this was a time period when maunfacturers were retooling virtually everything from one year to the next, engines ('31 has updraft carb, '32 downdraft), transmissions ('32 first year for freewheeling mechanism), body ('32 first year for inside sun visors, adjustable doors on hood, newer style rad shell, 2 door hinges instead of 3 in '31) wheels size different, etc etc. So when or if you need parts, be prepared to hunt for specific 1932 pieces. Good luck.

For better coverage you should also post in the "Parts Wanted" forum.
