I hope others noticed chat member Mary Corrington's 1949 AD 1/2 ton on cover of Sept issue of Hemmings Motor News. I don't remember her chat name; but clearly recall threads/posts few years back. Also in Sept issue is a nice two page article about her truck and 4 color photos. Mary is from Eugene, Ore. Check it out if you still have the Sept issue.

Thanks for remembering me, Bill. They also put my pickup on the Hemmings 2017 vintage pickup calendar. She is March. Here is another article about her.

I just noticed your reply from November 6th!
What a nice story about your '49 in pick-up trucks dot com. You/they did a great job reviewing the restoration.
Altho it's not my way to travel in these nice old cars, I sure admire your "life in the slow (216-235, 6 volt, etc) lane" travel.
I'm not in Eugene a lot, but maybe we could meet up some day next summer. Would love to see your '49 - and you - in real life!

Yes, a beautiful truck ! Many years back, early in my Chevy career, I was offered a management position at a Chevy store in Eugene. Can't recall the name, though. I have often thought back about my decision, thought Eugene would have been a nice area, in which to live. 
1951 Chevy Styleline Deluxe 2 door sedan / purchased from second owner 6-19-2000.
