I need to tap the holes for the small screws that affix my Fisher body tag to the cowl (1936) and believe it to be 6-32, is that correct? Thanks for any info.

The Cowl Tag on 36 are riveted in. No screws. I think the idea is that it wasn't supposed to be removed.

I meant the oval Fisher emblem at the bottom of the right cowl. Mine came off with tiny machine screws that the holes are buggered up and need to be cleaned up.

I think they might be 6-40.

I'll buy one of each and see what works best.

I found my thread gauge and it is definitely 6-40 thread but I now find the new reproduction tag will need the holes modified because they are just a bit closer center to center. Bought off epay, my original one was all black and I don't know if the colored one is correct or it should be all black on my 1936.
