Shouldn't the butterfly close completely on full choke? My 27 model was returned the second time with a butterfly not able to close more than 3/4..How do I fix this w/o trusting this guy a 3rd time. Thanks Guys......Bill

What carburetor are you talking about? Maker, model, etc. You only list a '32 Coupe in your profile. Is that the car you are trying to get the carburetor rebuilt correctly?

This carb is a RJX-O.. Pre 28 as you may know

Is the carburetor an RJX-0 or a RAJX-0 or RX-0?

The late '27 Carter carburetor "RAJX-0" does not have the throttle plate connected to the choke linkage. There are several Carter Carburetors factory installed on Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth from that period that have the choke linked to the throttle valve assembly.
