OP blue38 ChatMaster - 750 Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 799 phoenix......az	Shouldn't the butterfly close completely on full choke? My 27 model was returned the second time with a butterfly not able to close more than 3/4..How do I fix this w/o trusting this guy a 3rd time. Thanks Guys......Bill Old cars have always owned me.

Is that the car you are trying to get the carburetor rebuilt correctly? How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!

The late '27 Carter carburetor "RAJX-0" does not have the throttle plate connected to the choke linkage. There are several Carter Carburetors factory installed on Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth from that period that have the choke linked to the throttle valve assembly. How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
