J C Whitny had some at one time with a trapezoid instead of a bow-tie.

I've seen some on ebay. User is marxman1949 so I think it's VCCA's Bob Marx.

Interesting. I didn't realize those were available. They're kind of built the reproduction 1934 Master caps. I'm looking at some that appear to be originals, maybe NOS but I wanted to be sure. If these are reproductions, they're exactly like the original. I think they're real...Joe

From the couple that came with my unrestored '36 Standard, Town Sedan the reproduction ones look correct. They have the blue chevy bow tie in the center with the dented circle behind it. Check out search to see photo's previously posted. I did get a couple of unrestored ones and had them re-chromed. As I understand these were made only for one year and fit the Standard only.

Joe, I'm pretty sure yours are original and like you said, probably NOS. I have 4 NOS caps and numerous used ones and they are made just like yours, but none have any markings. I may have to place a bid.

Chevrolet had more than one vendor making hub caps and also changed vendors from year to year. Who ever made the hub caps in 1936 was usually not making the 1936 hub caps for replacement 5 years later.
Thats why you can find small diferences in the hub caps over the years.

just curious: what hubcap/model is the rarest, hardest to find (1930's)?

What Chevrolet Hubcap from the 30's is hardest to find ? Well, let back up 1 year. Probably the 1929 Wire Wheel Cap. They were an accessory wheel.
