AND MY QUESTION IS !
WHERE DOES THE DECAL GO ON THE AIR CLEANER ? ON THE LID OR ON THE BODY OF THE CLEANER. THIS IS FOR MY 51 TRUCK. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

I have one from a passenger car which has the decal on the lid. The remains of the decal are near the outer circumference - maybe 2 plus inches from it..The unit on my '52 PU is very different and has no evidence of a decal. It's shaped like a flower pot - narrow at the bottom, medium in the middle and wide at the top..Don't know if it's correct..Both units are the oil bath type...

my 54 belair is also on the top, that is where what was left of the old one was, dry roads to you

Since he has a truck it would be different than a car...also depends if its a dry mesh or oil bath air cleaner.
