ALL FIXED, several problems. 1 threw away the petronix, they say at the tech line that they either work or dont,, i must be that 1 in a million, extremely week spark, next the timing way off, way retarded. next , when i decided to have the carb proffesionally rebuilt, i shoulda done it myself. the little jet for the accelerator pump was partially blocked by the little tee that holds the check ball and spring in. looking down on the bowl with the carb apart i noticed that it wasnt in the position that i put it in 3 years ago. made sure the jet was clean, bench checked it and away we go. also as a bonus, for some reason, somebody over the years turned the fitting down on the accelerator rod, so when it was floored, it was only half way. after a oil-filter change, bleeding the brakes, as a maintance item, and a shake down cruise down 77 south, it runs better than ever. so all you out there who dont like the electronic ignition,, im loining the club.. one plus about petronix, they are refunding me my money, even though i lost the recipt, and it is close to 1 year old,, thanks for the help, and DRY ROADS to you all, thanks bill pearson, cleve, ohio

Good Deal Bill; Glad you got it running ok. Should have the '46 on the road by Aug. If so I'll see you at the Lake Erie meet.
