Last Saturday I was at a cars and coffee at a shop that does restoration and street rods. There was a nice barn find 32 2 door that looked like you clean up get running and drive on tours. I asked my friend that works there what was going to be done, he wasn't sure. He sent me a text today and said it is to be rodded, know anyone needs a 37000 mile chassis. I will try and post more info as I get it.

I built a racer/speedster from a 32 rolling frame over the last 2 1/2 years. All period 1932. It is a hoot to drive, and turns heads. Especially when I wear the leather flying helmut and goggles. Good luck,
Norm

I would be very interested in a complete chassis and drivetrain. I'm currently restoring a '32 roadster that was partially disassembled. It came with a '34 engine that was out of the chassis. Because I didn't take it apart, it will be a real challenge for me to piece it together. The parts manual and shop manual aren't much help. I'd love to have a complete correct chassis to restore. My e-mail is: studebaker4829@live.com Could you e-mail me contact informations? Thanks. Tom

If you get the '32 Chassis then sell me your parts and I'll put it together for a project I have in mind.

OK Chipper. We'll see what happens. I haven't heard back about the '32 chassis. The '34 engine has been all rebuilt by a reputable local shop. I have all the paperwork. The previous owner of the car and I fired it up on a stand before I bought the car and it sounded good.

I could make it work. I just get all caught up in details like differences in bell housings and transmissions and throw-out forks and ignition switches and electrolocks. I'm just not all that sure what I should be looking for at swap meets (Hershey soon) or on line.

Some guys can see everything fit together in their heads and go for it. I'm more of a just-follow-the-original-designer kind of guy. Tom

Found out more about the drivetrain today. It is out from under the body and ready to be sold. Talked to the owner, it was a 2 owner car with
around 20,000 miles, had been stored since the mid 80's. Also saw the front seats and there was only very minor wear on the top of the drivers seat.
For more information you can contact Clint Quesinberry at Karl Perfomance

When I asked Karl how much he though it should be worth $1000.00, but he may take a reasonable offer.
