I'm trying to install the accessory glove box door and wanted to swap the lock from the original door. Before I do any further damage I thought I'd ask...just how is the lock assembly removed from the door? I have the nut loosened but it doesn't fit over the tumbler/lock.

Ooops, disregard. Two minutes after posting the question I tried pulling instead of pushing and it came apart. Pull back on the tumbler, away from the door back, and the key tumbler assembly disengages and all the parts are easily removed.
