Does anyone know where you can buy a pre-bent fuel line for a 34 master. It would be nice to find something I don't have to splice together.

There is a new material available at most parts stores that is steel appearing on the outside but with an alloy lining in the inside that makes it much easier to work with. You can easily bend it by hand into most common curves and it can be flared conventionally, yet it has sufficient strength to be safely used even for brake lines. I suggest you try to remove your original to use as a model for the replacement. With a little patience it should not be too difficult to achieve good results! I made the line from the fuel pump to the carburetor easily, and it looks totally original!

I was afraid I'd have to make my own. Thanks for the tip about the new material. I'll look into it.

John, I have made several fuel lines using 5/16" steel brake tubing. Not nearly as hard as you might think if you have a decent pattern. The pattern does not have to be perfect just fairly close. Adjustments can be made to fit. I suggest leaving both ends a tad long. They can be cut off later.

I found a guy in my town that builds street rods. He sold me a 21' (I think) section of unpolished stainless. Bent real nice just keeping your thumbs together. Thumbs were sore for a while. The tube for the vacuum advance I bought from Grainger. Build the carb line first & then the vacuum tube. All looks good & clean. Like Chipper says, make them too long to start with & shorten when everything is where it's supposed to be....Joe
