The dark gray was called Titan Gray metallic. It was Duco stock number 841 and a number 841-32561 is shown.
Its a very difficult color to match and there is a newer Honda color that comes very close.
The light gray is Silver gray. The Duco number was 626 and 246-55277.
These colors were available only in pre-mixed and no formulas are shown.
The steering column and shift lever were the darker gray color but were not metallic for some reason.

If you have a sample for an eye match any local body shop/auto paint store.

Mistgreen, I found the honda colour at a local hard ware staore that sells "Colour match" auto paint in those little touch up cans. Almost exact although it's a laquer and a bit soft. THe light grey I found at a hobby shop as testors Paint enamal Gloss Gull Grey. Colours matches realy close but it has no metalic. THat wasn't a big deal though because my 50 did not have metalic in the paint originally.

Chevynut, no it didn't. I have seen lots of pics on the net showing the metalic light grey on US cars. Of the cars I've spotted up here none had the metalic. THe steering wheel grey matched the dash grey that also matched the grey background of the Deluxe radio. My car was unrestored when I purchased it so I'm assuming that was theoriginal colour.

If there are any fellow Canucks with a Canadian built 50 Chevy on this sight I would certainly like to compare notes.
