Does anyone know if 1936 Chevrolet and Pontiac 2 door coupe doors are interchangeable? Both body's are Fisher and look the same.
Are Olds and Buick the same doors too?

They would be different. First the part numbers are different. Then I checked the part number of the door glass. That is different also.
Would probably be the same SIZE as an Olds and small Buick but the pressed-in belt moulding will be different.
In 1936 Chevrolet would have two different doors. The lower priced Standard having a shorter door than the Master, also the Standard had wood doors at the beginning of the year and switched to steel doors mid year.

Thanks for your response to my question. I had guys telling me all kinds of different things. I did hear the the 1936 Chev were all steel doors, so I was hoping they would fit so I would not have to use the wood door frame. Your response is appreciated.

just go by the measurements, i have a 36 Pontiac convertible long body with 6 wheel option, i needed to replace one of my doors and went through the same headache, think we ended up using a coupe door to rob the shell
i looked at a few doors before we found the correct fit

You might want to post future questions in the 1933-36 forum instead of here in the Chat Suggestions forum which is for posting your ideas for improvements to Chevy Chatter
or to discuss computer/internet issues.

At any rate, good luck with your project!
