Hello everyone,
If anyone can help I need to know the exact center-to-center spacing between the crankshaft and the camshaft of the 1923 4 cylinder engine so that the gears, when installed, have the proper lash. I am trying to work-in a main bearing without having the entire engine re-done and I need this critical measurement before I proceed any further.

If I fail in being able to properly set the crank can anyone recommend a shop I can contact about having all the mains re-poured and align bored professionally? The closer to West Virginia the better.

What kind of cost should I expect as reasonable for having that done? Thanks,

The centre to centre distance for the crank & cam gears in a 1928 engine are on a radius of 4.313" - 4.316",which should be the same as a '23 engine?
