Hi I have been asked to re-commission what i believe to be a 1926 roadster, i cannot find a data plate on it and i and the owner don't have the paperwork. It is right hand drive and i believe made/assembled in Hendon England, the engine number is R 216650#, # in place of number. This from my research leads me to the date of 1926 can anyone confirm this. The body type is 2dr roadster with a rumble seat in the trunk area.

I will need to get the relevant service parts for this such as an oil filter where can i source these from?
Thanks for any information provided.

If you list the major characteristics we should be able to verify the model year. Is the radiator outlet (bottom) on left or right side? Oil pump in the block, behind the distributor or in front of the generator? Are the throttle and advance levers on the steering column just below the wheel or next to the dash or in the center of the wheel? Headlight bar between the front fenders or just a stand on the fender for each headlight? Headlights flat on the back or bullet shaped?

Hi
The rad outlet is on the left looking at it from the front of the car.
I cant see from the images i have if the oil pump is in front if the generator but it looks to me from the distributor side that the block is cast and not machined to be opened/accessed from behind the distributor.
The throttle advance levers are mounted to the column at the point where it meets the dash.
There is a headlight bar between the wings and the lights mounted on this are flat backed.
And further information is as follows:
wooden spoke wheels with aluminium rim
front bumper constructed from two parallel flat plate, with slight turn at the end finishing with a round.
Windscreen is split type that folds.
Roof/hood is vinyl that can be removed
Trunk/seat area is made up of a small panel opening that folds forward and then a larger opening panel that folds back and upright to make the back of the rumble seat.

if you need further information let me know.

Hi Grahame,
It's looking like what most of us would call a '26 Superior V but both K (Knudsen) and V (Victory) were built in both years. To keep it simple,
we refer to a K as '25 and a V as '26.

Regards
Al
