Tim Thank you for posting that lot, my guess that was not all of the cars that attended. I think I saw 1931Sal's Pheonix and brewsters 51? (there were 2 very similar pics), I was also looking for the JYD green 5? but didnt see it but it may not have been there. Tony

Thanks for posting the photos, Tim! Great work!
I spent a shift on Sunday helping Tim, Karanel & Natalie position the cars for photography. They had a really efficient system for getting the cars through quickly. It was scorching hot, and I think with the altitude we were about 30 000Km closer to the sun. Felt like that anyway! The cars were leaving the field entrance check two at a time, as there were two lines doing the check. I don't think the line up at the photography point ever got beyond two cars deep. A couple of the older ones boiled over while pausing to smile for us, but the pit crew took care of rinsing the coolant away quickly with bottled water. The second car of the day was the first to boil over!
If you ever attend a VCCA meet, they are always looking for volunteers for various jobs. Field entrance check and photography was really an easy chore. The hard work done by the volunteers was easily paid for by providing them with a free car show that came to them, and the pleasure of meeting almost every single one of the registrants on the first day.
Tony, there was also a '52 four door that was vey similar to my '51. I think folks were mixing us up all week!
Those accustomed to the finest...find it in Chevrolet. 1953 Belair Convertible 1951 2dr Deluxe Sedan 2015 GMC SLE 4X4

Yes, I agree we had a great setup with Field Entrance then Photography. Thanks to my volunteers that made it go smooth: Bruce Pearce (ONT), Bob & Joann Swanson (WI), Alan Larson (IA), John Nelson (MN), and Tim Larson (WA)
No, these are not ALL of the vehicles that attended the meet. We were hoping to have everyone come through.

Thanks for posting the pics. Disappointed that no 47/48 models appear to be present. (unless the station wagon is one). Looks like I should have attended with my 47 to represent those model years.

We had two '46's - station wagon and convertible. And yes, the other station wagon is a '47.

Dick -
I felt the same way about wishing I had brought the '48 when I saw that there was only 1 car for 1947/48 class judging! I expected to see a bigger representation of these cars from the West Coast guys!!

Great set of pics! Thanks for taking them and posting them!
Speaking of capturing Chevys digitally, I noticed that a few folks took videos of my FrankenChevy engine running. Unfortunately, I did not have the presence of mind to make a video myself.
If you have a video of Frankie running at the Tuesday car show, please send it to me or post it on youtube and send me a link.
Thanks! Dean
