When I got my 39 1/2 ton, the radiator core support had been mounted directly to the cross member. I may or may not have the parts necessary in boxes to put it back together correctly. Does anyone know where an illustration of the mounting parts might be, or have the parts available to photograph so that I might have some reference while I scour the boxes to see if I have matching parts available? Thanks in advance!

If your 39 is like my 38 there should be a rubber pad between the rad support frame and chassis with a similar pad with a steel plate below the chassis.

The 37 also has the same pad. I believe the pad is available through several of the vendors.

I think there's more to the mounting than just the pads. I think there must be spring loaded bolts and shims as well but I'm not positive about that. I know that the 41-46 trucks have an arrangement like that. I found an illustration for 46, but was hoping to confirm that the 39-40 was something similar. Thanks.
