That got your curiosity up, eh?
OK, so I've been contacted by a good old car guy, who has a 1912 Jackson touring car. What does that have to do with us Chevy guys?
Well, when he bought the car (decades ago), he was told the differential and gears had been replaced with a set from a 1940-ish Chevy truck. This is not an uncommon thing to find in brass era cars, because guys were looking for something readily available, with a high ratio, bullet-proof, etc, and they simply couldn't find replacement parts for oddball early cars. Especially back in the 1960s and 70s when fixing up a really old car.
So his ring and pinion gear set recently got torn up in an unusual set of events, and now he needs to fix the car. But he can't figure out what it's R&P is from. Also maybe some confusion due to - is the Part Number for a gear SET, or for the individual gears.
So let me paste below the info he has found, and see if anyone can possibly help identify what he is looking for, to fix his ancient Jackson with a Chevy diff....
The tooth count is 41 and 9 (4.55 ratio) - with the following numbers on them: Pinion Bearing - New Departure 1105 (I can still get this) Pinion - 375517-9-41-GM Ring Gear - 375516
With the following dimensions:
Ring Gear is approx 9" diameter with 12 mounting bolts
2" small end of pinion 2.6" big end of pinion 1.033" spline shaft size 10 spline pinion shaft

Only two Chevrolet trucks had a 9-41 ring gear and pinion. The 1940 KD,KE,KF.....3652526-527 stamped on ring gear and pinion
1941-1942 3/4 and 1 ton.....3652526-3657709 stamped on ring gear and pinion.
The pinion bearing number not in Chev. parts book.
The 9-41 is the date the gears were made so could have came from a 1941 or 1942.
GMC?
