I've had no luck over the last 4 months on finding a 16-1/4" dia truck fan, '34 to '36. I notice the '37 to '38 16-1/4" fan has the same dimensions, will it fit on a'36 Standard 207 engine.

It will not bolt up to a 1936 or older water pump. Different bolt pattern and pilot hole.

Thanks for the quick reply! Do you have any leads on where I could find a '36 truck fan?

The problem with a larger fan is that some will hit on the lower radiator hose so be sure before you buy one that the blades are not longer.

Hi, I haven't found a '36 truck fan yet. In your reply back in February you mentioned "Tom may have one," how do I contact Tom?
Thanks,
Matt

The correct dimensions of the truck fan blade is as follows-
Length, end to end 16 3/4 in,
Center 'Pilot' hole 1 1/8 dia.
Mounting holes bolt circle 2 1/16 in
Original GM Part NO.837448

Amazing difference! Fit my '35 Std 207" eng. perfectly
Temperature is about 20 degrees cooler than before!
Good luck with your search!

I too am looking for a truck fan for my 35 Standard Coach. They seem difficult to find. If anyone knows of one please let me know. Thanks.
