So I'm now the proud owner of a '52 Styleline Deluxe wagon. Typical floor pan rust, doors are solid, rockers have been replaced. Exterior is complete, interior... not so much. I have most of the window moldings, and front seat frame. I picked up a '52 parts wagon(w/powerglide) with complete interior (all seats!), so hopefully I have most of the stuff that is difficult to find. Do the replacement floor pans for the 4 door sedans offered by Filling Station and others fit the wagon?

FB, Welcome to VCCA and to the wonderful world of wagons! I have a '52 tin woody wagon also. To answer your question, YES, you can use the regular 4 door sedan floor pans. I got mine at http://www.classicfabrication.com/. Decent quality, decent price. The web site is pretty lame, though... I'd like to chat (or email) with you about some parts. DC matt: looks like my old woody that i bought in WVA in 1966, drove it about 5 years, sold it then bought it back about 1985 only to get rid of it about 1990. i installed a 66 Olds 455 with Muncie 4 speed in 67 and drove it cross country couple times in late 60's. when it left cumberland, md in about 1990, it still had it's white perforated vinyl headliner so if yours is so eauipped headliner wise, its probably one we owned years ago. email questions and good luck with the old girl. mike

Mike,
I got my car from a "good ole boy" down in NC a few years ago. He had taken it as a partial trade on a double wide.
No 455 in it. It has a '54 235.
Most of the original interior, including the headliner, was replaced when the PO "fixed it up". I'm in the process of undoing his "fixing up".
I'm trying to get it back close to original.

DCMatt, Your wagon is in nice shape. A work in progress, I'm sure. I aquired this wagon through a trade for a '41 Dodge panel truck. Stock 216 with 3 spd. It's quite solid, but the pans need to be replaced and the rear tailgate needs some attention. The rest is basic hammer and dolly work. Most of the interior wood was there for patterns, as was the glass. I picked up a '52 with the 235 and powerglide. Paid quite a bit for it, but everything is there (seats!), but the body is shot. Let me know what you may need, and I see if it is something that I don't need. I'l post some pics in the coming days...

It seems like the '52 DC_Matt's post links to was on eBay a while back, maybe a year or so ago.
Just curious, can't see too well from the picture and painted area; does it have a '51 grille??
 Maybe?????

Bill,
My car was on ebay about 2 1/2 years ago. That's where I found it. It didn't sell on ebay as the owner's reserve was too high. I emailed him when the auction closed and told him I would stand by my bid (not the highest one he got). I guess he needed some cash, so he accepted my offer.
Yes, it has a '51 grille. I don't know exactly why, but I assume a previous owner replaced the "Korean war chrome" grille with a better one.
There are other parts that have been swapped, too. For instance, the seats. Based on the upholstery, I'd say the front seat is from a 49 - 52 sedan and the short second seat is from a 53-54 Townsman wagon.
I put in a back seat from a 90 Isuzu Trooper as the third seat. The size is perfect. With correct upholstery, it will look "right".
All the original wood inside is gone, except window sills, and replaced with cardboard covered with furniture fabric. All the wood grained metal interior parts are spray bombed silver. :(
The point is, somebody tried to keep it fixed up over the years. But there wasn't much thought given to maintaining the originality.
As mentioned... a work in progress...
