The passenger side mirror on my '41 coupe is worthless. Its arm needs to be longer. Does anyone know of a source for one with longer arm? The arm needs to extend the mirror more than 6 inches. I saw one on a '41 on the Southern Spring Tour, but the owner didn't know where it came from...it was on the car when he bought it. Sid

I searched and searched for a side view mirror for my '41 coupe (passenger side) that worked well, but to no avail. I finally settled for a "Peep Mirror" which mounts (clamps) to the door above the division bar separating the wind wing and window. It's not the perfect solutuon, but is is far better than any mirrors I tried which mounted (clamped) to the door at the belt line. I got it from either FS or Chevs/40s.

The original 1941 accessory mirror clamped unto the door edge about a couple of inches above the belt line, was not real long, and worked OK.

Thanks guys. My mirror is clamped to the door edge, but higher than 2 inches. Maybe moving it lower will help. I'll check it out. Unfortunately, the paint is already chipped in its present location. Sid
