I just bought a 1984 El Camino with at least 134.373 miles. It should have a 305 engine.
How can I tell if it has been changed to a 350 engine?
Thanks, John VCCA 33839

For better coverage you might want to post in the 1980-1989 forum as well.

include the casting number on the drivers side rear flange of the block as well as the info stamped on the engine pad(just ahead of the pass side head) on the block. mike
