I am wanting to replace the top on my 1925 touring. Lebaron Bonney has a top for a 1926 but not a 1925. Is there any difference in this area of the car or would the top work. I am looking at replacing the material only my frame is fine.

I would go to a local upholstery shop and have it made and installed. Take some pictures with you. You could get some material samples from Lebaron Bonney.

I second Ray's opinion. I had my 24 top done by a local shop in Virginia Beach and could not be happier with the quality and perfection done by the shop owner. There is considerable fitting needed to make the top fit correctly.

What kind of cost would we be looking at to have the top redone?
I will reach that point one of these days and I was just wondering about how big of a bank loan to take out when I get there.

Depends on whether you have a roadster or touring. Also, how hungry the uphosterer is. I just had a 1928 CSC upholstered and the labor alone was $3,000.

I had my '25 Touring done locally based only on pictures I had from a 4 cylinder meet in Kalispell, Mt. It turned our great. Hard to estimate cost since I had the inside done also.
