Went to a potential construction site and saw this in the field about 300 yards off the road.
Was the last thing I was expecting.
Thought it was pretty cool though.
I think it's a 1936 low cab 1-1/2 ton.
Please let me know if it's not.
It has duel wheels. Just the engine block sits up front. Been stripped.

At glance, the windshield looks tall like a '37 or '38. If the gas tank fills at the pass side rear corner of the cab, from outside, it is a '38.
If the door check straps are (or were) leather and attach to the inner face of the door panel to a loop, it's a '36. '37 and '38 use a metal check strap that is hidden when the door is closed. So, '37 no leather strap or evidence thereof and no hole in the cab corner for gas fill tube.
'36 Low roof windshield is 1 inch shorter in the center than '37-'38.
I hope this helps.
There is difference at the bottom of the cowl also.

Looks like a split cushion seat - further indication it was a 37, although some 36's had the 37 split cushion as did 38.

Not sure when or if I'll be able to give it a closer inspection.
If I do get back over there, I'll take the time to look at details.

The other thing about the 36 is that there was wood in the cab. It's in the door jams, hinge side, under the dash, and scattered in a few other places. The only wood in a 37 and 38 is the blocks the cab sits on at the frame.
