on my 36 replaced manifold gaston. now it not omly runs better but also coolor.. does that make sense thanks

Lean combustion mixtures are hotter burning than stoichiometric or rich mixtures. Leaking intake manifold will produce a leaner mixture. Wallah.

Please double check your manifold bolts. It is common practice to re-tighten the manifold bolts after 500 miles!!! These are not modern vehicles. They do not play by modern rules. Sucking in air where it is not suppose to go does cause all sort of trouble. Good luck.
