One more thing before I head off to the juck yard. Does anyone know what bucket seats will bolt up to my '50 Fleetline 2 door without too much trouble?

I would think that any you decide to mount in the 50 probably will need new holes drilled and maybe extensions to make them set level. The 50 is not as wide as the later model full sixe cars, it might be a good idea to measure inside from door rest to door rest.

My car has a very good pair of Mercedes 280C 1970 seats, that had new holes made and had to be shimmed to be level, but are marvellous even for long trips. Don´t forget you need coupe seats that can be inclined.
