Bore and stroke, crankshaft main and rod journal diameter. What was the rated horsepower? weight of motor?

Bore is 3 11/16" stroke is 4"
Rod bearings 1 3/8" 1 7/8 " long
crankshaft bearings Front 1 5/16' diameter, 2 5/16" long . centre 1 21/32 " diameter, 1 1/2" long rear 1 1/4" diameter, 2 11/16" long
Valves 1 1/2" diameter

Im thinking about purchasing a 1922 490 but the engine is blown, they have another block, the current engine is complete and in nice shape, but how available are parts if needed? Also the car needs a steering box, is that hard to find also, seems like parts may be difficult to find for this car.

Quite a lot of parts for the engine, drive line, steering, electric, etc. are available, but the steering box is not so easy to get, I think. Take a look at the websides to The Filling Station and Early Chevrolet Parts(Gary Wallace) and ask for parts on the "parts wanted" page on this forum.

Type this into an ebay search - "1922 23 24 25 1926 CHEVROLET Car Steering Box Housing & Side Plate for Restore". The same seller - "choppsshopjg" - has a lot of stuff to look at. Hope it helps.
