How do you insert pictures with the forum messages?

You might want to do a search on Chevy Chatter for inserting photos since we have had many discussions on this in the past. Also, you can go to "FAQ & HELP" on the upper tool bar on the right-hand corner of Chevy Chatter and then click on "FAQ & HELP". It will then take you to another page. Once there, scroll down and click on "How do I add an image to my message?"

I found that i can ONLY post images from certain websites mainly http: ones, I can NOT post images from Google Photos, they just do NOT work.

I have just learned to post links to my gallery & photos

The key is that the picture needs to reside on the internet somewhere, then you can post a link to that photo in the discussions here. I use Photobucket. It is free and easy to use.

Another possibility for you is to upload your picture to this web site (either in Member Photos or Project Photos) and then use the picture's link location to have the picture show up in the middle of a thread post.

The picture will need to be less than 1 megabyte in size to upload here. If it is bigger than that, use something free like Microsoft's Paint program to resize it.

Cheers, Dean

I upload my to google gallery and then sort them by album, and share from there well over a 1000's picts for sure. all were resized to save storage space, the full size versions reside on my backup drive at home :)
