Cleaning up some of PO's creative wiring under the dash. Original wiring from heater fan motor to switch/rheostat intact, but no power is wired to switch. Checked wiring diagram in shop manual but it doesn't show wiring for fan motor.

How was power originally taken to switch?

Thanks in advance, Dave

The heater was not a factory option. It was a dealer installed accessory. The instructions are in the accessory installation manual.
where and how the heater was hooked up depends if the car has an acessory eletrical junction block or not.
If I had your email address I could send you a picture.

I have the junction block if needed. It is NOS in the box.

Thank you for your replies gentlemen. The car is '52 Styleline Deluxe.I aware of the junction box as used for dealer-installed items but no evidence of one on my car. I guess power originally could have come from any ignition circuit. Temporarily wired to ignition switch, but doubt that is correct. If you could take a look Chewie that would be great.

Keep forgetting and every time I remember the weather is pouring down...but I will get into it this weekend to run new harness wires and snap a pic or two. not sure how close it will be. Mine is a '50 styleline deluxe..but they should be somewhat close.
