BilXLII, I doubt that Mahalet is doing that, he has been around the Chevy Chats for a good while and except that he is in Brazil, he seems to me to be a regular Chevrolet kind of a guy, besides the shipping would eat you up, I wonder what it would cost to ship a couple of 21" wheels and a 48 engine head from Brazil overnight?

besides, I think he is wanting info about the vendor, who-some-ever he/she/it, is.
Maybe he will come back and splain what he means.

beside, I don't allow none of them kind of tricks on this here forum! If we don't hear something before I leave for The Southern Fall Tour in Fort Smith Arkansas next week I will move this here thread to the vendors forum, Ok?
You'n-zes be good you hear! wink :p yipp dance

Mahar and Mahalet are one and the same, he has been around for a long time, sports a very nice reconstructed chev with a 80s 261 in it. apparently they continued to build them in Brazil or Argentina. I just could not find the subnect of the post as only question and signature were there.

Hi all:
Sorry for not explaining rightly what I wanted to know: The vendor is called Chevrolet6 , and he´s got something I´ve been longing for: The acrylic rear seal, as now I have a Sagiglide transmission, with the manual three gears and a lot of "kickdown" when you press the accelerator firmly. So now slip and slide with my Sagiglide...
No, I´m an auto journalist in here, but if somebody needs cheap OEM parts for the 261 I can help but non profit, just to help my brothers.
The 261 was made here from 57 till 84 and used in the trucks and pickups.
By the way a group of people went from Rio to Detroit in two pickups and the brasilian Suburban, the Veraneio. The trip is in

www.oldwayexpedition.com.br

And there is text in English.
Mahar is my teens nickname, so my Chevy is the Mahalet.
And thanks for the good things said about me in the thread: made me proud to belong!
And what means CSI? :o

Hey Mahalet,

I was making fun of Glyn & Gator. I thought they were acting like two detectives. We have a TV series called CSI Miami, so I was being cute and calling it CSI Rio de Janerio. <CSI = Crime Scene Investigation>

Happy Motoring,

But does somebody know anything about Chevrolet6 before i send my hard earned to them?
I also like fun, a lot: no woman, no business, no children, low problems.
This afternoon washed and went for a ride with Mahalet.
Why the &*¨#$%@ exhaust always leaks and makes bad noises?

No , Sir: gasoline, not methane.
The exhaust manifold to head leak, yes, that extremely rare one.
Nobody knows what Chevrolet6 is?
