I removed the front wheel on my 30 standard coupe and the outer front bearing fell apart, leaving only the race. Is the race press fitted.

do not remember mine being pressed in.... but the race could have been, based on looking back. here is a picture of the front bearings: 1929 Front Bearings Ready for Repacking1929 Front Hub w/ Race still inside

You can tap out the outer race using a punch, brass prefered. It is not in there that tight.
