Were the original tail light lenses on a 1952 styleline deluxe plastic or glass

Plastic. Should say Guide R-1 51 in raised letters on lens.

As a side note here, the year stamped on the lens is not specific to the year of the car, but to the year of the lens design. Therefore, the '51 lens was used in 1951 and 1952, but all are stamped '51.


Those accustomed to the finest...find it in Chevrolet.
