On my 46 Fleetmaster with a 216 motor, I had a problem over heating. Had the head shaved and new gasket but same problem. Tore it down again and with the pistons in different position found a crack in one of the cylinder walls. Can it be re-sleeved without tearing the whole motor apart?

I would suspect the crankshaft would need to be removed. Probably best to check with an engine rebuilder.
