This could look nice in the garage next to the 4 door we just bought. Thoughts?

Macky, you really are wacky.

That's the SAME car "Alan" is talking about when he started this thread. It's the same 'eBay' auction car. The seller is "stuffanat" with 1225 FB and the car's located in New Galilee, PA.

What's up with YOUR post on the same car?!?!?!?!?

Bill.

Well Alan, you certainly wouldn't have to talk much to get me enthused about acquiring another '54.

Obviously all the same 'thoughts' apply to this Bel Air 2 dr. post that "we've" all discussed many times in here.

I have NO idea how far it is from your place in NY to where the car is in PA; but assume it isn't so far that you aren't intending to go SEE it for YOURSELF.

Good luck! I, for one, hope it works out for ya!!!

So....Billy I may be wacky but I tend to think you at times are rude.

Just in case someone need a fresh look at the one that only has a couple of days to go..

Have I missed something here?

Alan's 1st pic is a 4 door; MM pic is a 2 door. They are diffetent colors and one has an outside sunvisor the other no visor. What have I missed??

If these are the same car then Coddington must have had a hand in it.

Actually Wayne you missed everything......

You didn't read my post completely. Or, at the very least, you didn't understand it.

I clearly indicated both posts were the same car, the same seller, the same location, etc.

You've mistaken (in Alan's post) the large picture of HIS car. The one he just purchased.

The "eBay car" Alan refers to has a link to the auction at the bottom of his post.

That link is to the same car that Mr Mack's 'link' is to. MrMack even put a picture of the ebay car in his post.

When I questioned, I thought good naturedly, why MrMack would post the same car, I recall he said something about a second chance to see it. Who'd need a second chance?? There's a link right there in Alan's post.

He, like you, apparently didn't read somebody's post too clearly. When I pointed this out to him (you might say 'called him on it'), Mr Mack apparently felt compelled to call ME rude, at times. Presumably he felt 'that' was one of the times.

Oh well......

Bill.

alan,

it IS fun...and your posts are always cool...

but, this thread is a good reminder to myself that, unlike conversations in person, the cyber world is devoid of facial expression & body language...therefore, the words we write are easily misunderstood as to intent, particularly when joking or good-natured teasing involves parties whom do not personally know each other...

keep posting...love those '54's...

ok epi

Well, that's too bad. But, under the circumstances, obviously best to pass on that one.

Alan, It seems you know '54's quite well and just wondering if you will read my post in 42bill's Cars Wanted before I leave for the auction tomorrow morning and what you think? Thanks. I'll take comments from anyone else also. By the way Alan, You have a dream car.

I think I'm a fairly wise person because I'm smart enough to realise I'm not too bright.
